New Year’s Eve Cruise

New Years Eve is a party night on board the James Cook. Due to live entertainment with a DJ and percussionist, we cannot guarantee seating for everyone.
We look forward to welcoming you from 20:30 onwards! Due to the preparation of this party evening, it is not possible to come on board earlier. Please do not arrive too early.
If you use a wheelchair, please be sure to contact Spido regarding placement and possibilities to board and be on board.

We begin the evening with a delicious welcome drink. After a brief word of welcome from our captain, the ropes are cast off for a special New Year’s Eve cruise. You will experience Rotterdam and the beautifully lit harbors by night in a special way.

Would you like a popping New Year’s Eve party with live entertainment?

During New Year’s Eve we will entertain you with musical entertainment. Meanwhile you will enjoy a spectacular view of the Nieuwe Maas and the impressive skyline of Rotterdam.Celebrate New Year’s Eve cozily on board our ship with family and/or friends. With live entertainment on board you are going to have a great evening. Around midnight the ship will search the middle of the river. Here we count down together to the New Year. When the National Fireworks erupt from the Erasmus Bridge, you will be seated in the grandstand of honor. You will have an unobstructed view of this spectacular show.

During the 75-minute Rotterdam Harbour Tour, we work with an audio explication system on board. It is audible in Dutch, English, German and French. On paper, the explication is also available in Japanese, Chinese, Spanish and Italian.

For the Extended Harbour Cruise, the audio explication is audible in Dutch, English and German.

During the daytrips and theme cruises, the captain provides explanations in Dutch. There is no audio explication on board.

Yes, that’s possible. If you have purchased an admission ticket online via Spido.nl, you can return your admission ticket. Make a request for this by telephone on 010-275 99 99. You will receive your purchase amount back (excluding booking costs). We can change sailing times for you free of charge.
Entrance tickets, for example Day trips or Theme trip tickets, can be canceled 5 working days before departure. You will receive your purchase amount back (excluding booking costs)
Tickets purchased through other channels cannot be returned by Spido.

It is not possible to moor anywhere other than Willemsplein during a (regular) cruise. On occasions where you rent a complete ship, there are of course possibilities to moor elsewhere. Please contact the Events department on telephone number 010-2759989.

We advise you to buy the tickets online to avoid disappointments at the office.

All our modern tour ships are wheelchair friendly (max 200 kg) There are disabled toilets on board our ships. It is also possible to move to the outside deck. Unfortunately, the skydeck is not accessible for wheelchairs.
