Rotterdam Highlights & Harbour Tour

The Rotterdam Highlights & Harbour Tour takes 75 minutes.

The tour departs from Spido at Willemsplein 85 in Rotterdam, at the foot of the Erasmus Bridge.

During the tour, you’ll see a combination of Rotterdam’s famous landmarks and part of the Port of Rotterdam. The route takes you past sights including the Erasmus Bridge, Noordereiland, Willemsbrug, De Hef, the Euromast, RDM, Waalhaven, ss Rotterdam, Katendrecht and Hotel New York. From the water, you can also see landmarks such as the Old Harbour, the White House, the Cube Houses and the Markthal.

Yes. During the tour, you’ll sail through part of the Port of Rotterdam. In addition to the city’s highlights, the route takes you towards RDM and Waalhaven, where you’ll get a glimpse of the activity in the port. The tour then continues via Maashaven back towards the city centre.

Yes. During the tour, the onboard audio system provides information about Rotterdam, the port and the sights along the route. The audio commentary is available in Dutch, English and German. You can also scan the QR code on your table to read information about the route and sights online in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Japanese and Chinese.

The Rotterdam Highlights & Harbour Tour is two-thirds city and one-third port. During the tour, you’ll sail past many of Rotterdam’s famous landmarks and attractions, while also getting a good impression of the activity in the Port of Rotterdam.

Tickets can be booked in advance online at www.spido.nl. Check the current departure times and choose the time that best suits your visit to Rotterdam.

During the 75-minute cruise, we use an onboard audio commentary system. The commentary is available in Dutch, English and German. By scanning the QR code on your table, you can also read information about the route online in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Japanese and Chinese.

During the Rotterdam Extended Tour, audio commentary is available in Dutch, English and German.

During our day trips and themed cruises, the captain provides commentary in Dutch. There is no audio commentary available on board.

During the 75-minute Rotterdam Harbour Tour, we work with an audio explication system on board. It is audible in Dutch, English, German and French. On paper, the explication is also available in Japanese, Chinese, Spanish and Italian.

For the Extended Harbour Cruise, the audio explication is audible in Dutch, English and German.

During the daytrips and theme cruises, the captain provides explanations in Dutch. There is no audio explication on board.

Please note: fake messages sometimes appear on social media from people claiming to sell tickets. Do not respond to these. This mainly happens with popular cruises, such as the Day trip Maasvlakte 2, the New Year’s Eve Cruise, and during the World Port Days.

Yes, that is possible. If you have purchased a ticket online through Spido.nl, you can rebook your ticket once free of charge.
If your tickets were purchased before April 1, 2026, we charge €1.00 fuel costs per person.

Tickets purchased through Get your Guide or Tiqets cannot be rebooked/changed through the website.
Rebooking is possible up to 5 minutes before the cruise departs.

Yes, that’s possible. If you have purchased an admission ticket online via Spido.nl, you can return your admission ticket. Make a request for this by telephone on 010-275 99 99. You will receive your purchase amount back (excluding booking costs). We can change sailing times for you free of charge.
Entrance tickets, for example Day trips or Theme trip tickets, can be canceled 5 working days before departure. You will receive your purchase amount back (excluding booking costs)
Tickets purchased through other channels cannot be returned by Spido.

A reservation is required for both passes.

Do you have a Rotterdam Pass? Then you can make your reservation online via our website using your pass number and PIN code. After completing your reservation, you will immediately receive your ticket by email. Don’t have a PIN code? Then you can also visit the ticket desk.

Do you have an Ooievaarspas? Then you need to collect your ticket at the ticket desk before departure and have your pass scanned there.

Reservations by phone or email are not possible.

Do you have a Rotterdam Pass? Then you can make your reservation online via our website using your pass number and PIN code. Don’t have a PIN code? Then you can also visit the ticket desk.

Do you have an Ooievaarspas? Then you need to collect your ticket at the ticket desk before departure and have your pass scanned there.

With the Rotterdam Pass, you will receive your ticket directly by email after making your online reservation. There is no need to visitthe ticket desk.

With the Ooievaarspas, you cannot board directly. Holders of the Ooievaarspas must go to the ticket desk before departure to have their pass scanned.

Catering on board is available and at your own expense unless otherwise indicated.

You are not allowed to consume your own food or beverage on board.

There is catering on board. During the cruise, various hot and cold snacks are available on board. You can only pay with pin. View the menu during the cruises here. Own consumptions are not allowed.

Both on board and at the cash register you can only pay by debit/credit card.

The Family ticket is available (2 adults & 2 children 4 to 11 years old) including a fun informative activity book for the kids.

Reservation necessary from 20 people. Please send an e-mail to reservations@spido.nl or by phone, not via our online ticket system. Lunch bags can be ordered for groups of 20 or more.

Dogs are permitted on the 75 minute harbour tours, but must be kept on a lead.
