The Euromast observation tower, designed by Rotterdam architect H.A. Maaskant, was constructed in 1960 to mark the second Floriade gardening extravaganza which was being held in Rotterdam. At the time, the Euromast was 100 metres high. In 1970, the Space Tower was added, raising the tower to a height of no less than 185 metres. This made the Euromast the highest watchtower in the Netherlands.
– Open every day* from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
*From November 1 to March 31, the Euromast is closed on Mondays and the doors open at 10 a.m.
– Transportation between the two attractions is on your own. Spido is located next to the Erasmus Bridge and about 15 minutes walking distance from the Euromast. By car it is about 5 minutes.
– Visitors with an (e)ticket can scan right after the entrance at the gates and halfway. On presentation of a printed combination ticket you can pick up an entrance ticket at the reception of the Euromast. You still have to reserve a date and time with the Euromast in advance. You can do this by following these steps.
Step 1: Go to https://tickets.euromast.nl/en/acties/tickets.
Step 2: Select the option ‘Voucher & Discount card other € 0.00’.
Step 3: Reserve a date and time.
– At the Euromast you can only pay with PIN.
– Euroscoop Experience included in a combination ticket Spido-Euromast.
