A comprehensive cultural history of the flower

With over 200 objects from art, design, fashion and science, Flowers Forever offers a rich and surprising exploration of the role of flowers through the centuries. From mythological stories and religious symbolism to trade, science and modern technology, the exhibition reveals how flowers are deeply embedded in our culture and society.

Upon entering, you are immediately immersed in the impressive installation Calyx by Rebecca Louise Law, composed of thousands of dried flowers: a multi-sensory experience inviting reflection and wonder.

Practical information

The Kunsthal is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 – 17:00.
Transport between both attractions is at your own expense. Spido is located next to the Erasmus Bridge and the Kunsthal is situated in the Museumpark approximately a 20-minute walk away. By car, this takes around 10 minutes.
You do not need to reserve a time slot when using a combination ticket. Your ticket will be scanned upon entry to the Kunsthal.
This ticket provides access to the Flowers Forever exhibition during regular opening hours.
The Kunsthal operates cashless payments only (pin/contactless).
Combination tickets are only available online and cannot be purchased at the ticket desk.
